*phew*

i don't know where to begin, it's been a crazy, crazy week.

i got internet installed at home today. the last two days have
been intense: someone screwed up my computer in the army, and i had a
mini-holiday (the weather has been BRILLIANT) while getting it fixed.
it's set me back quite a bit workwise, and that's been a bit
frustrating... but nevermind.

i went on a blind double date last night, and i got stuck with the not-so-good-looking girl. nice enough, and the evening was fun, but it was totally weird.

the other thing about this week is that the guy who's been riding my
case has finally left. and the mood in the office has shot through the
roof - in addition, we have a new guy, and it's been fun sorting him
out and showing him the ropes.

i've remembered, because i actually forgot, that i'm manic depressive
- i'm attributing that as a factor to the past month's general
depression, and especially to the outrageously good mood i've been in
the last two days.

as far as work is concerned, it's rather tough, and i'm going to have
to spend most of my weekend on it... the guy whose code i'm fixing
left it in a complete mess.
very professional.

my back is completely wrecked. it's killing me. i'm using deep heat,
i'm working the muscles as much as possible (mainly by correcting my
posture, but it's not habitual so i keep relaxing).

i'm totally amused by the building organization. they miscalculated, and i owe them NIS 300. i received a check in the post for NIS 150, with a letter attached saying it's to assist with the cleaning expenses incurred during the move. it's really sweet, but couldn't they just have deducted it from the amount owed?

i went to a comic book convention on the weekend, that was totally lousy. and that's all i have to say about that.

ummm. the army's good, the work's good, the other work's alright, the
apartment's good... all i need to deal with is (training/requitting
smoking) and sleep deprivation, and everything'll be great!
