the workload last night was quite alright, and i managed to catch up on almost all the news i've been missing... but the atmosphere at work sucked, and i was on edge and aggro until i left. i was bombed by the time the last event began, and just before we left my stomache began to HURT. i got a ride most of the way home, but i still had to walk half an hour, tired, in pain, and carrying an open cardboard box containing all my media and a dvd drive. the clouds were dripping, but i received a favour from the gods - it only started to rain AS i got home! i'm still incredibly grateful.
i went straight to bed, and woke up a few hours later to go pick up my laundry - it was raining, and i as i made my rounds i got progressively more soaked. but it was worth it - i had a great shower afterwards. i installed the dvd drive in my pc - i kept forgetting all sorts of stupid things... it's been a while... now everything works except the cd that i REALLY need to work.
figures.
i'm at a friend's, reading comics and watching zim. life could be worse.
a story about a man making his dreams come true... but with all the interesting bits left out.
