while waiting in the queue for a social security consultation this morning, i received an interesting phone call... i got into the unit i wanted!

w00t!

so life isn't SO bad. i figured out something rather important with the project i'm doing, and had a pleasant and successful meeting about it on campus. after lunch, consisting of a bottle of sprite (it's simply too hot to eat), i went with a friend to his place, where we chilled and talked for a bit, before i had to go home to prepare for the tutoring session.

which promptly killed my day. i'm now teaching this 15-year old kid, who has a serious attitude problem, and is simply the most disrespectful person. it drove me nuts, and i'm still trying to decide if i'm going to teach him again.

on my way home, i indulged myself with an entire loaf of STYLING garlic bread.
yeeessss...

she met up with me at my place, for an hour or so of whine-time (mine, i needed to get this kid off my chest), and now i'm planning on a quiet, relaxed night.
