*** yesterday ***
yesterday afternoon was pleasant. sammy picked me up last night, and we went to his place to watch children of dune.
we had to watch holland vs. czech republic (czechoslovakia?), which was frustrating (bad sportsmanship, and an aweful referee).
we then watched two hours of children of dune.
WOW.
FAR superior to the original series, and much closer to the books. it's not really children of dune - it's also dune messiah, so visually you don't miss anything :)
** today ***
sammy gave me a ride home, and i stumbled into bed (after more fighting with flying roaches. these things get EVERYWHERE!). i've just gotten up, and the sheer dreariness of the next few weeks really gets me down.

and that's ignoring all the other crazy stuff - papers and projects, and so much community service i don't know what to do with myself.
BUGGER.
right. time for breakfast.
