*** yesterday ***

well. that was all unexpected.

i went to buy munchies, and ran into a friend (mexico boy, or mb). we decided to go and see a movie: day after tomorrow.

got home, showered, had a HUGE fight with grootbek. it amazes me that i haven't physically hurt him during the last couple of years.

so mb came over, we watched the end of the match (italy vs. sweden, a disappointing end for italy fans), and then took a cab to the mall. where we organized our tickets,

** today ***

and hung around until the movie began. i got a phone call from her. she wanted to sleep over tonight. i have no idea why. weird.

good movie - and it has jake gyllenhaal! sweeeet... anyway, the movie was yet another reminder of why i'm doing what i'm doing - my main goal is (at least to start the process of) getting humans off the planet, and this, along with deep impact, and the problem of overpopulation, is just another good incentive.

we seriously need to find a way of creating self-sustaining space vessels. biodome technology, solar power, and oxygen regeneration are all within our grasp - all it would take is a little group effort, and clever design...

mb and i walked back home - a lot of extremely interesting conversation. turns out we have very similar religious experiences... it's always nice to find people with the same attitudes when it comes to these things.

after replacing my lightbulb in the dark, i found myself chatting on irc. to quote myself:
i'm trying to remember why i'm online, and not sleeping. i think my face is in "rest" position when facing a monitor...

right. enough.

*** later ***

restful morning. i got some laundry done, tidied up a bit, and watched once were warriors, which is a powerful, and difficult movie.
she's coming over now for a visit. i have no idea what to expect.
