hmmm - a bit of counterstike before bed this morning. i played on a server with 4 on 4, and these guys were GOOD. it got to a point where i was literally shaking, and having trouble pressing the right keys...
i woke up at 09.00, and left at 09.30. i went to the bank in pituach with a relative, to sort out some problems with my account. everything got settled smoothly, and we had some coffee before he dropped me off at home.
i had breakfast, played beneath a steel sky, and took a nap before taekwondo.
i was exhausted. i never made it to taekwondo.
i finished beneath a steel sky. it's an excellent game - the story is great, the puzzles are clever, and the graphics (by 1994 standards) are awesome. and it's quite funny, too.
what sucks is the ending. it could have been drawn out a little. it summed up everything, in two or three sentences, and then ended.
swak.
i played some counterstrike, and then decided it was time for some eating.
i did exactly as i remembered her doing on the weekend. i turned on the gas, i put in some oil. i put in one cup of rice. with hilarious (albeit not for me) results. my flatmates were in absolute hysterics, and i was quite upset. my pot's all burned now.
what i've learned, and what i'll probably never forget, is always do the first few steps on LOW flame. NOT high.
i made a new batch, which came out great! now i need to clean the pot that i nuked.
i played through a section of final fantasy viii today. i had a lot of fun, and didn't have to think too hard. very pretty. very, very pretty.
i took the bus to work. i had to sit next to two smelly guys. i had nothing to do on the bus besides think about the fact that i was sitting next to two smelly guys.
i had really good thai food for supper, and now work is about to begin.
* jumping up and down for joy *
a story about a man making his dreams come true... but with all the interesting bits left out.
