*groan* not feeling so good....

after all that. we eventually got to a place called paranoia. i spent a bit of time later on coming up with more appropriate names.

this was, without any doubt, one of the lamest and most frustrating "parties" i've EVER been to. the music SUCKED. BADLY. every now and again, the dj would play a good song... but not without damaging it in some unholy manner. as far as technical skills go, i've heard retarded tone-deaf animals with no opposable thumbs play who sounded better than him. i spent the evening wishing to take him outside, shoot him, tear him to tiny pieces, and bury those bits in different places - all the while praying that none of them would bring more misfortune to this world by sprouting.

the people. oh good lord, the people. so THAT'S where you go when you're off everybody else's invite list. hundreds of drunken sods, about 4 okay-looking girls in all (nothing special, i promise), wriggling and writhing off-beat and hitting on anything that signified that it may have the ability to emulate movement.

those were the longest, saddest three hours i can recall. i don't think i've ever had to suffer that long continuously. that party more than made up for any babies i might have mutilated in previous lives. i now understand the meaning of hell. if i'd been given a choice of that "party", and setting myself on fire, i would have gotten busy oiling my body - concentrating on the really sensitive places.

please, PLEASE lord, i'm begging you - don't let those things breed!

i think the hotdog i ate didn't agree with me. when i finally got home, i was feeling a bit sick, and i spent my first couple of waking hours lying in bed feeling sorry for myself.

i eventually got up around 2pm, took a cab to azrieli, and had a good lunch with spot. i took about NIS 700 in gift vouchers with me, so we tried to do some shopping. i left with two dickens' books (i hear they're boring, so maybe they'll help me sleep on buses), and an original bad boys dvd. i'd actually managed to find about 10 great dvd's on special, but i was informed that i couldn't use my coupons to buy those... BUGGRIT! i'll just have to go back again (they were closing) some other day and buy music.

i've just walked home, i have laundry to hang up, a shower to enjoy, and then i'm off to tel aviv. mnsl's birthday today, so she asked me to come say hi to her on the beach (if i get around to it), and s'belle's invited me to mike's place for supper. their food is always good. and then it's a big-people's party tonight, hard rock, and i'm praying that it'll get last night out of my head.

honestly, i'm praying for natural memory-suppression. i hope i'm not too old to do that to myself.
