*** yesterday ***
she picked me up around 21.30, and we went off to the mall, to find out which movie we were going to watch.
*** today ***
cold mountain is, without any doubt, the most powerful and deeply disturbing movie i've ever seen. it is an absolute must see, although i'd advise going to the toilet before it starts, and i'm sure it wouldn't be half as good on anything less than the big screen.
brilliant cast, generally just #@$%ing HECTIC. i've never cried so much in a movie before.
after the movie, we went to tal bagels, where i had a good bagel, and a great cup of coffee. we sat for an hour or so, until she dropped me off at home, and has gone home herself.
damn, but this movie has #@$%ed me up big-time.
*** later ***
wow! it's been a great day. started off with a small breakfast and some turkish coffee, moved on to rollerblading with her, then spending the day at the beach.
it was beach weather.
HOT.
lovely.
we came back to my place to cool off, and watched some tv. i learned to never again buy a whole pomegranite. if you want the seeds, buy the seeds.
she left, and a friend of ours came over to borrow something from grootbek. his room REEKS of fish. i felt kinda guilty, but he does deserve it. we'll fix it in a day or so...
at least some of the cutlery and crockery returned.
i just had a great shower, and i'm going to arb around until she gets back, and we may, or may not, do something tonight. whatever, it's been a good day.
a story about a man making his dreams come true... but with all the interesting bits left out.
