*** yesterday ***
yesterday morning began with a visit to the social security office. which, surprisingly, went well. i then upped and went to campus, where i sorted out some of my community service, and proceeded to walk to SxS's place, where instead of studying, we spent the afternoon building bridges with pontifex ii, and finished off the day with an insane braai: lots of meat and chicken and Very Good Things.
*** today ***
we woke up early, and i went to write the c# exam - it wasn't very difficult, but it was long, and my arm and back hurt afterwards.
i came home, agitated for no apparent reason, and played counterstrike until she picked me up at 16.00, and we went to watch looney tunes: back in action with her little brother.
i learned, along the way, that an avocado and herring bagel is not such a great idea.
the movie was okay - not funny at all, but some of the scenes were really cute (i'm a sucker for good cg).
after coming home, i played around with some programming ideas i've had lately, and then she came over for a bit of cosy tv watching. i waited until after she left to prove to myself that i really do suck in the kitchen.
you just can't bake potatoes with a microwave. at least *i* can't.
a story about a man making his dreams come true... but with all the interesting bits left out.
