last minute addition:
i discovered slashdot this morning. i had nothing better to do. i cannot believe that so many geeks spend so much time and energy devoted to pure, utter, and complete mental masturbation. there are some incredibly useful tidbits all over the place, and reading it is sometimes quite informative, but my god, these people need goals, or religion, or something.
i got home much earlier today, around 3am, and passed out on contact with my bed.
i woke up around 11.30, wanting breakfast, and i had to make do with the single clean spoon. my flatmates don't DO dishes.
our argentinian flatmate managed to push his entire set of burglar bars, with windowsill, off the wall, and it crashed down into the garden, destroying a well-tended and rather large bush.
i quote: "oh - shit! * CRASH *". fortunately, noone was below...
a little later on, i had to reset grootbek's computer, and i discovered where all our dishes had got to. he's been hiding them all over his room - when our argentinian found out he also flipped.
and so we went through herzliya, searching for a hardware store to purchase chemicals with which to punish him - our plan was to make his room unbearably stinky. on the way, we walked past a most inspiring fish-shop, and bought a small, cheap, potentially-very-smelly fish, and have placed it strategically in his room. we're hoping he won't find it for a very long time.
i finished the majority of my "community service" for the university, and played around with some ye-olde vb, which was kind of refreshing.
in a way.
i'm going to get some rest now, she and i are celebrating our 10th month, and are going to a party which promises to have very good music, and free sushi all night long.
yeeeees, my precioussssssss.
a story about a man making his dreams come true... but with all the interesting bits left out.
