*** yesterday ***

ho, hum. i had a very good day.

she and i went to the beach, and then to tal bagels, for a great breakfast.

i had a meeting with the social worker about this kid i'm to take care of for my community service, and arranged to meet with him after school today.

she and i spent the afternoon together, and had supper of crepes and ice-cream before she went back to gedera.
and i began missing her immediately. it's been a really great week with her, in spite of all the trauma at the start.

i went to training, where i cried (stretching), and generally had a good training.

*** today ***

after taekwondo, i made myself some spaghetti with mushroom sauce (this instant sauce has saved my relationship with our kitchen), watched some funky stuff on the discovery channel, managed to rid our apartment of one of its friendly roaches, had a hot shower, and am proceeding to bed.

*** later ***

i woke up around 08.30, i think. i finally washed my taekwondo gear, which was getting a bit, uh, "homely".
ok, it was smelly as hell.

i got the results for our programming course (the difficult one), and i got 87%!! i'm VERY excited, and our argentinian got upset with me for bouncing around so early in the morning.

i read the paper for the first time in days, and generally farted around until lunchtime, when i made my way to the mall, to meet up with the kid i'm supposed to be helping out for my community service.
he stood me up.

i checked out the shooting range nearby, and they explained to me that under no circumstances would they allow me to use the range without a gun and a license of my own.
they did, however, provide me with the number of a range that would.

and, i've found out that our brit used to participate in marksmanship competitions, so he's keen to join me.

i went home, did some of my "community service" (website development) for the university, had a great tuna-'n-mayonnaise spaghetti dinner, and then came to work.

i've so far, aside from the algorithms exam, done quite well - the rest remains to be seen.
i'm actually quite nervous.
