chilled, tired

i woke up around 12, and spent some time arbing and reading (the horse and his boy). around 1 i left for a long, slow mission to see if any of the kiosks in the area had meat... nope. but i did enjoy the walk.

once i got back, i packed my things and went to the one downstairs to do some shopping, where yogi joined me to make some corrections to the list. then we drove through to our friend in pituach, for a relaxed independence day braai with tons of people and lots of nothing. it was very nice. hot, sunny, good food (the rest of the south african contingent was responsible), and good conversations.

then we went to yogi's parents' place, to continue relaxing with more good food (good lord - i'm STUFFED), and funny discussions relating to their upcoming wedding, and then a partial viewing of the 12 monkeys, while looking at photos of our graduation.

this gives me hope, and i don't think i'll be buying the wii anyway.

yogi then gave me a ride home, now i'm gonna shower and sleep like ze baby, no?

  2. all we can do is pray...

and hate. lots of hate can be tolerated when people do stupendously dumb things.
