roughing it

it's saturday night, i had a bunch of stuff planned, and after taking mr smear on a morning hike (which was really cool), i came home feeling so terrible that the rest of the day was spent feeling miserable on the couch. my jaw has been hurting horribly for the last few days and is swollen to the point where gd's actually worrying, so i guess monday will be time to see the doc again only this time with cause to insist on getting whatever this is checked out.

i don't know where the week went, it felt like it flew by. i actually made coding progress at work for the first time since i started, and i'm now officially tenured with a month's experience. i still feel like i'm the new guy, though. and i feel like my constantly massaging my jaw while trying to keep my eyes open during meetings must have looked a bit weird but nobody's said anything.

tuesday night's dnd session was brilliant.
