*** yesterday ***
the drivers guy wasn't pissed off with me for not doing the work - in fact he was downright friendly!
just when you think you've seen it all.
i went to say goodbye to her parents yesterday. which was a mite uncomfortable, but nonetheless it went okay.
last night we watched whale rider - great movie! it's a modern day fairytale - i couldn't help myself, and cried a little at the end, but it's a most enjoyable film. there wasn't a moment that i wasn't entertained.
*** today ***
she slept over last night. when she left, i had a really good breakfast (scrambled egg on toast, vanilla dessert, chocolate milk, and orange juice), and then began packing. i was sure that i could get online and check my mail at the same time...
wrong.
i've spent the past four hours or so in simultaneous conversations with at least six different people, and i haven't got any packing done. at least i did some laundry though.
i'm SO excited!! i've spent today bouncing up and down, because i'm leaving in THREE DAYS.
THREE - count 'em!
i'm been making lists of the things i need to take, and everyone's contact information, and i've begun planning my first couple of weeks already.
some of it may prove damaging to my lungs and liver, not the least of which will be surfing over the weekend.
but i suppose that'd be damaging to my bones and muscles too.
the only really sad news is that she's leaving tomorrow.
a story about a man making his dreams come true... but with all the interesting bits left out.
