*** 3rd ***

i got into bed around 6am, and got up around noon. i spent my day at the doctor's, getting x-rayed, and consulting with an orthopaedic surgeon, and it turned out (after all that) that my foot was actually fine.

the whole process was pretty unpleasant, not helped by my back / neck being out of action as well. not to mention, the general unhappiness of walking into a health care centre, with no people inside, and a wall filled with signs in hebrew that i simply couldn't read.

i did, however, discover a new passion in life - hot chocolate with too much sugar. it really is amazing.

i then went off to work.

*** 4th ***

work was quite relaxed. i got my usual long, long phone calls (lasting upwards of half an hour), and was about to read hunter x hunter while talking them through their problems. i didn't get any homework done, however, as our work machines cannot read pdf files, so that kinda sucked.

i got home at 04.30, and was in class at 10.15. exhausted, and coming down with a throat infection. it was a long, tiring day, with lots of homework to hand in, but we were rewarded at the end with an economics class that was not only informative, but entertaining as well.
it's kinda wierd saying that, but it's true.

i took the bus to our taekwondo gym, where i underwent the examination to test my ability to not die without cause. i always feel sheepish about these things, because they insist on finding out, the hard way, something that i could just tell them myself.

instead of training, i joined her in tel-aviv, at an exhibition of international photo-journalism. it's an incredible exhibition, with amazing pieces, and we enjoyed ourselves. i also ran into a friend that i haven't seen in two years, who's now working for the Associated Press.
good to know.

we came back to herzliyah, i did my math homework, and then,

*** yesterday ***

around 1am, we went to her place, where she made me soup and generally took care of me.

yesterday morning, i was completely screwed up. math class was crazy, and i had two hours afterwards to complete my programming homework, which i almost managed. almost.

i did some basic shopping, and then came home and crashed.
last night, we were invited to a thanksgiving dinner (a bit late), and for a few of us it was our first time. the food was good, the atmosphere was pleasant.

around 22.30, i came home, spent a couple of hours doing homework,

*** today ***

and went to bed. i woke up around 3 / 4am, because my throat was hurting me, and i tried unsuccessfully until 09.30 to get some sleep.
our brit had the same problem, so there're two sick people in this apartment. at least we get sympathy.

our apartment is absolutely freezing.

i managed to get some sleep, and we watched frankie and johnny, and now i'm going to try to do some more homework before our vampire game at 17.00.

i'm - so - cold.
