looking in the mirror

it's become an interesting exercise for me to imagine the entire world as "me", and appreciate it as such. i'm sure i've mentioned it before, but when you look at someone you "know", you're looking at a personal projection of everything you recognize about that person, and therefore a reflection of one of the many personalities that exists within you.

certainly, in objective reality that person is a whole universe unto himself, but that's not something you can touch without perfect and complete communication. and every time communication takes place, you incorporate and internalize more (cognitive contamination) and so become more...

if you were ever to really know someone, you'd be that person.
