i just found out that i got 70% for my marketing paper - which means that i PASS the damn course!!
screw you, grootbek, i succeeded in spite of you.
now to try and rescue the rest of this week.
oh, yeah - and due to my sunglasses being accidentally "borrowed" yesterday, i broke out the goggles this morning: i'm still very happy with them.
 OH yes.

i have definitely been out of sa for far too long. i'm going #@$%ing crazy. i neeeeeeed to return. this august thing had better work out.
 psychotic rage DENIED.
i hate being homesick. it's agitated by all the crap i'm dealing with right now... i've spent today doing practically nothing - and mainly because i can't really do any work right now... life stinks...

life is a little better. i did some community service, and made myself feel really good about it (i'm trying to get my charge to teach himself maths). i sort of sorted out some of my applied project work (at least, i delayed it a little).
sammy came over, we had some hot chocolate and talked a while. i just finished three huge bowls of good chicken noodle soup. i feel warm and sloshy inside.
when the water is hot, i shall immerse myself in it, hopefully cleansing away the drudge of the day.
and - my favourite ex-pat expression - "more is nog 'n dag".
a story about a man making his dreams come true... but with all the interesting bits left out.
