we are humanity, and we are humanity's greatest threat. the only thing we should really be competitive about is physically isolating some parts from others so that when some of us implode, that implosion affects the rest as little as possible.

this piece by haraway is long and somewhat tedious, but filled with... filled with something important. if only it wasn't such a long read!
