umm, i haven't showered yet, i'm absolutely exhausted. and i'm signing in the morning! stressing :/ [yes, yes, there's nothing to stress about, got it, i'm stressing anyway]
lunch with the cousins was grand (i was blown away by the pea soup and the strawberries - no, not together) and the first third of the squid and the whale shows a great vision and really wigged-out characters. highly enjoyable.
magnolia is an incredibly long and absurdly bleak film. it does lend a new appreciation for tom cruise's performance in tropic thunder, however.
funny how instead of taking the positive message at the end of it, i've registered only the connection with my own issues, and i've been dark and brooding since i left lake's. i suppose the industrial music in the background didn't do much to lighten things up, and the dub remedy was a little too late.
a story about a man making his dreams come true... but with all the interesting bits left out.
