almost forgot to mention:
every morning we listen to russian rock in the car on the way to the base. this morning i mentioned that i thought it was pretty solid, and was told that it's off a soundtrack. the guy started describing the story, and after a while i said "that sounds like night watch".
his jaw dropped. "you know this movie?!"
of COURSE i do! and he was most impressed that i said "anton gorodetski" with an almost flawless russian accent...
i was impressed that that name is still stuck in my memory.
